Melder: Corporate identity creation
Industrias Melder is a business group, with more than 70 years in the market, which owns different brands in the agricultural sector.
It is an organization dedicated to the production of balanced feed for poultry, pigs, cattle and pets.
It owns the SuperVet brand, a store for small and large species that sells feed, accessories and medicines.
It also has the Avigasa brand, additives and supplements for feed for large species.
What Melder needed
Although Melder has 70 years of experience in the industry, they still could not define their corporate identity.
They had developed a logo and had certain colors but these were not respected by the staff because without the manual there was no color palette or correct size and use of the logo.
They did not have guidelines for the correct use of the logo, so sometimes material was printed with a range of colors that was not appropriate.
The brand was not identified in the market for the same reason, it did not have a guide for the incorporation of its logo in merchandising, sponsorships or events in which they participated.

- Zoo Inc. first of all met with the client to define what they wanted to convey.
- Based on that, a corporate identity manual was created to represent the brand.
- Within the identity manual we proposed the correct ways to use the logo as well as the incorrect ways that should not be allowed.
- The pantone of the colors of the logo was placed for occasions that require printing material or developing some kind of promotional material and in which case it will be necessary to use the color palette of the brand.
What Melder accomplished
- To this date, Melder has been able to unify and even develop new labels for its products.
- Based on the manual, it has now been possible to develop office material such as business cards and stationery that follow the brand guidelines.
- The brand can now be identified anywhere and has also strengthened communication through all the media channels that the company uses, such as social networks, labels, and physical promotional materials.
